LINKS The mission of Surfer’s Myelopathy Foundation is to increase the awareness of surfer’s myelopathy in order to provide support and to promote injury prevention, research, and treatment.  In 2014 we formally assembled our members under the Big Wave Risk Assessment Group (BWRAG). While the focus thus far has been on elite big wave riders who perform in the most dangerous surfing arena of all, the BWRAG would like to continue to expand to service surfers who are pushing their own relative “big wave” levels.  PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors and PADI Assistant Instructors are the most sought-after dive professionals around the world because they’ve completed the program that sets the standard for training dive professionals.  The American Red Cross provides lifesaving training to thousands of Hawaii residents each year in numerous topic areas including First Aid/CPR/AED and Babysitting. Visit the Take a Class page to find a training or certification class in Honolulu, HI or an area near you. ACA Instructors teach paddling skills in approved ACA course outlines after qualifying in various disciplines and at various levels.  An ACA Instructor can teach both skills courses and assessment courses up to their level of certification. This leading course is your best start to becoming a professional kite Instructor and living your dream. All pedagogical contents and exercises included in the course show you how to find the perfect balance of fun and safety while keeping each kiteboarder’s individuality in mind.  The Level 1 Windsurfing Instructor course serves those with intermediate to advanced windsurfing skills, including rigging, de-rigging, general board handling and maneuvering, and leaving and returning to a dock or beach. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of windsurfing related subjects is required, such as theory.
